Baton Rouge, LA — Today, Senator Jeremy Stine (R-Lake Charles, LA) announced the Louisiana Water Sector Commission awarded $22,516,999 million in funding for eight projects for repairs and upgrades to water and sewer systems in Lousiana’s 27th State Senate District.
“This is the first of many funds to come down the line from the Water Sector Commission. I appreciate the Commission’s joint effort to prioritize Southwest Louisiana’s water and sewer infrastructure. I will continue to work with the Commission and its Chairman, Senator Mike Reese, to ensure our district’s water and sewer infrastructure is revitalized,” said Senator Jeremy Stine.
